Training Philosophy

Training is more than teaching dogs to obey
commands.  It is a way to increase
communication between dogs and people.

Obedience training has an overall positive effect on dogs' behavior. It helps them understand their role within the family.

Training helps dogs develop self confidence that
enables them to behave better during alone and play time.

There is no one "right" way to train. The key to
effective training is being able to "read" the dog and adjust training methods accordingly.

All training done with 6 foot lead and chain collar. No pinch collars or
electronics used.

No extreme or harsh training methods.

Lots of petting and praise.

If a dog will not come to you after looking you in the face, you should go home and examine your conscience.
